Beaded Wedding Jewelry

In this Beaded Wedding Jewelry page you'll find several patterns for bridal jewelry.

"Something old and something new, something gold and something blue" -Did I remember it right?

Any way, with this note in my mind I settled to make something for the new bride.

This set got sold recently (9th July, 2009). But if you like it I am willing to make one for you.

I used lapis lazuli chip beads with some malachites. The green shade of malachite reminds me of the rolling grassy hills of spring, and the lapis lazuli is clear royal blue with a purplish hue. I hung some fresh water pearl beads that are perfectly round and smooth and they are adorned with tiny green swarovski beads. The whole appeal is just right for a bride – the queen of the special wedding day.

Sold $145 April 2009

Here is another set that I had made for the beaded wedding jewelry collection but it is sold last April. Here I used faceted amethyst briolette teardrops meticulously wrapped in gold filled wire and then integrated them with genuine amethyst beads and fresh water pearls.

The bride was born in February(birth stone-amethyst) and the groom, June - ( having pearl as his birthstone).

I found that integrating birthstones in the wedding jewelry was appreciated by many people. It kind of made it special for them, I guess.

Recently, I got an order to make something with peridot and amethyst as the bride and the groom have those gemstones as their respective birthstones. For me it worked out fine, as light green and light purple are nice complimentary colors. I used some fresh water pearls too. It is believed that pearls bring money, luck and love.

What can be there better than that to wish for to a newly married couple? If you like any of these designs but want different gemstones I'll be happy to work with you. Just contact me.

Recently I came across an interesting book that shows many innovative ways to save for a wedding that I'd like to share with you. Take a look at this Amazing Wedding book.
