Earring

To make this earring pair I used

a pair of gold filled gold beads,

a pair of mother of pearl heart beads,

a pair of rice pearls,

two pairs of gold filled daisy spacer beads.

Couple of head pins and

A pair of gold filled lever back hoops.

I used the heart beads, the rice pearls and the clips or hoops from Firemountaingems.

I strung the gold bead, heart bead,a pair of spacers and the pearl on a head pin. Leave about 3/8th inch of space and then cut the wire with a wire cutter. Grabbing one end of the remaining 3/8th inch of wire with my round nose pliers I make a complete circular turn on the pearl bead.

Check the tutorial by Tammy Powley in About.com -Basic Bead Earring to see how this basic loop is done.

Insert it in the loop of the lever back. Make sure to close any gap with the chain nose pliers that may remain after making the complete turn for the basic loop. The beads should hang nicely from the lever back hoop.

Make the other one too to complete the pair. To check other design please visit my etsy site at alankarshilpa.etsy.com
