Your jewelry business card
Still, a business card is a must for your hand crafted jewelry business. The other day I met a lady in the airplane. She liked what I was wearing. It opened a conversation. My business card was the only little link to remind her of me later on. And it is professional too. Later it gave me business. The most important thing is- you need to let people know that you exist and there is a way to reach you if they want to. In your jewelry business card you want to give: Your name and /or your company's name, An address or a reachable phone number and/or your e mail address. Your web site address if possible And a picture. Sometimes a picture says a thousand words. It is possible to make home made cards. I gathered what I wanted to say and took it to Staples. They really helped me and the card stock is of good quality. You could make it entirely at home with card stocks and printing at home. The pros and cons of the home made jewelry business card Pros: It can be changed as needed. It may have a hand made charm. Cons: It may not look professional unless you use high quality card stocks and ink and in those cases you end up spending more.

Once you have your beautiful business card try to use it every chance you get. Always carry it with you. You never know when the opportunity for a business may knock at your door. Another funny but very interesting idea I came to hear about is, using your business card as a book mark and forgetfully leaving them in the library books, especially if the books are jewelry related. There are quite a few such interesting ideas in Rena Klingenberg's book. I enjoyed reading it and using many of her strategies.
